About Our Neighborhood

Amberwood Property Owners Association Inc., manages Amberwood subdivision, a small community tucked away at the end of Lee Road. Comprised of 55.47 acres and subdivided into 101 lots.  Amberwood residents enjoy the benefits of a close knit community.

We are conveniently located.  Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center backs up to the neighborhood, the park contains an 11 mile greenway hiking and biking trail.  We are within minutes of two elementary schools and the city's main freeways and international airport.  Highway 59 is 3.5 miles away; Hardy Toll Road 7.5 miles; I-45 Freeway is 9.5 miles and the Bush Intercontinental Airport is a 5 minute drive. In addition to everything offered at Deerbrook Mall, most of the major stores (Best Buy, Home Depot, Academy, Target, Walmart, Costco, Sams, Aldis, Krogers, Walgreens, CVS, etc.) are within 3 to 4 miles of our community.
